The system consists of an "anchor" antenna placed on the vehicle and a tag worn by the operator on foot. The anchor creates a 360-degree detection area: when an operator equipped with a tag or another vehicle equipped with an anchor enters the detection area, the system activates and warns the driver of the obstacle in the maneuvering area. The pedestrian is also warned by vibration and beeping of the tag.
