We present to you Ingo Oelhausen, Sales Director for the DACH and BENELUX regions.
With his extensive experience in the industry, Ingo is the go-to person for clients in Germany, listening to their needs and offering tailored solutions to improve safety and productivity.
His role allows Kiwitron to stay close to clients and partners, providing constant support both before and after the purchase.

 

Tell us a bit about yourself, who is Ingo Oelhausen?

My name is Ingo Oelhausen, I am 60 years old and I live in Kempen am Niederrhein, Germany. I am happily married to Katrin, and we are the proud parents of Lennard, our 10-year-old son. In my free time, I love to engage in sports such as football, ice hockey, tennis, and skiing, and I also enjoy taking care of our garden, which is another peaceful corner of my life. I’ve always been someone who enjoys staying active, and this also reflects in my work life: I’m constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities.

 

You have a long career full of experience. How do you think this can help you bring Kiwitron closer to its customers?

I’ve been working in the forklift industry since 1997, so I’ve witnessed many transformations and innovations. I started by collaborating with dealers for Hyster GmbH in Germany, where I also managed projects in Italy. Over the years, I’ve worked with major brands like Linde, Jungheinrich, and Still, and more recently, I specialized in safety and assistance systems for forklifts. This experience has allowed me to build strong relationships and understand the specific needs of customers. Now, with Kiwitron, I want to bring this knowledge and proximity to the German market, to make our customers feel more supported and heard than ever before.

 

What is your role at Kiwitron and how will you support customers in these regions?

Since June 1st, 2024, I have been the Sales Director for the DACH and BENELUX regions at Kiwitron. My main goal is to bring Kiwitron closer to customers in these areas, not only in terms of sales presence but also in terms of technical support and after-sales service. We are already working on building a team of German-speaking technicians who can provide fast and efficient service. I want our customers to feel truly connected to us, knowing that they can rely on a trustworthy partner who is present in their region. This is a crucial step in building strong and lasting relationships.

 

How would you describe Kiwitron and what do you think makes it unique for customers?

Kiwitron is an innovative and dynamic company with a clear vision: to offer solutions that improve the safety and efficiency of industrial vehicle operations. What impressed me the most is the company’s ability to listen to customers’ needs and provide tailor-made solutions. It’s not just about selling products, but truly understanding the challenges and opportunities for each client. Being close to customers, not only physically but also in terms of understanding their needs, is one of the key aspects that convinced me to join this adventure.

 

Why should customers choose Kiwitron now that you are part of the team?

At Kiwitron, I found not only technologically advanced products but also a great passion and dedication to providing personalized solutions. This is rare in our industry, where solutions are often standardized. With my arrival, I hope to bring Kiwitron even closer to German-speaking customers, offering them the assurance of a reliable partner who understands their specific needs. Our innovative products and our ability to adapt to each client are strengths that I am eager to showcase even more in the market.

 

Looking ahead, what are your plans to strengthen the connection between Kiwitron and customers in the DACH and BENELUX regions?

My main goal is to build a strong and recognizable presence in these key markets. First and foremost, we need to make Kiwitron known, increase our visibility, and create a strong bond with our customers. This means being present at the right events, such as LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart, where we will showcase our full range of products. I will leverage my experience and contacts to consolidate Kiwitron as a trusted partner, one that is always close and attentive to the needs of its customers.
