Introduce yourself, who are you?

My name is Ingo Oelhausen, I am 60 years old. I live in 47906 Kempen, in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. I am married to my wife Katrin, who is 46 years old. We have a son named Lennard, who is 10 years old.
My hobbies are football, ice hockey, tennis, skiing, and working in our own garden.

 

Could you tell us about your career path?

I have been working in the material handling equipment industry since 1997. I started as a dealer support representative at Hyster GmbH in Germany, where I was responsible for coordinating with Hyster’s warehouse equipment production sites in Italy. After that, I worked as a regional sales representative for forklift manufacturers such as Linde, Jungheinrich, and Still. Since 2015, I have specialized in safety and assistance systems for forklifts. I have worked with two German manufacturers: tbm Hightech Control in Munich and Elokon in Tornesch, and most recently as a Business Development & Sales Manager at AME, headquartered in Florence.

 

What do you do for Kiwitron?

Since June 1, 2024, I have been the Sales Director DACH & BENELUX at Kiwitron S.r.l. My role also includes strategically developing the sales territories in the DACH & BENELUX regions, which means planning relevant marketing activities to increase Kiwitron’s brand awareness. Additionally, we aim to establish a German-speaking service technician team in the near future to provide our customers with after-sales support and assistance during installations and commissioning.

 

Who is Kiwitron?

Kiwitron S.r.l. is an excellent and reliable partner, as well as a competent advisor for end customers and OEMs when it comes to “safety and efficiency” in the use of industrial vehicles in the fields of logistics, earthmoving, agriculture, and industrial cleaning.

 

Why Kiwitron?

I accepted my challenge at Kiwitron because I was impressed by the diverse and modern product portfolio. Additionally, the willingness to offer customer-specific solutions is not only uncommon in the industry but also a service that Kiwitron provides to its customers. During the discussions before I joined Kiwitron, I was convinced by the owners’ vision and ideas, as well as the in-house products, which are continuously supported by the company’s own R&D department.

 

What are your future plans?

As a Sales Director responsible for specific sales regions, it is, of course, always “about numbers and facts.” Before incoming orders and sales can be achieved, certain prerequisites must be met. From my perspective, these include brand awareness, market presence, references, and continuous advertising. In these areas, we at Kiwitron will be very active. We are already looking forward to participating again at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart, where we will be present with our own booth.

Having worked in various positions in the material handling equipment industry since 1997, I will leverage my expertise, knowledge, and contacts to establish us as a valuable partner.
