It was born from the attention Cantina Produttori gives to safety: having an operation where the use of forklifts is a daily occurrence and where activities take place in spaces with potential interferences, we wanted to implement collision prevention systems that are essential for a forward-thinking company that prioritizes safety over profit.

The implementation of these technologies went hand in hand with the modernization of our fleet: we switched to lithium forklifts for better energy savings and to reduce emissions (as operator safety is paramount).

For this operation, we relied on our forklift dealer, Officina Pavan Srl, who already collaborated with Kiwitron and proposed their solution to us.

We learned about Kiwitron six years ago through a forklift manufacturer. We have completed numerous installations, both for 4.0 certification and for safety. Four years ago, for example, we installed the first KiwiEye on a forklift in a company that needed a safety assistance system after experiencing several incidents in their operational area.

We then proposed KiwiEye, as it can recognize people and slow down forklifts: a solution highly appreciated by the client, solving their problem.

First, because the working system cannot afford security breaches, so we will certainly see regulatory measures aimed at standardizing the use of these systems.

Second, companies like ours work on sustainability reports, aiming to reduce energy inputs and outputs. We’ve been doing this since 2019, covering the entire supply chain, from the vineyard to the finished bottle (solar panels and lithium forklifts are just a few examples).

The trend is shifting towards rentals, where the customer receives a package of vehicles combined with services and safety solutions. Promoting workplace safety, even for small businesses with a few forklifts, is becoming our daily mission.
